Tomas van Ammers

Tomas van Ammers has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Tomas began their career as an Economic Consultant at Fauna & Flora International in 2011. Afterwards, they joined Catalyst IT Limited in 2012, where they worked as a Test Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Scrum Master & Project Manager, and Account Manager until 2015. In 2016, they returned to Catalyst IT Limited as a Delivery Lead, and later became the Head of Cloud Native in 2019. Tomas also had a role as Director at Atlas Systems Limited starting in 2017. Overall, Tomas has demonstrated expertise in agile project management, technical analysis, and leadership in both the IT and environmental sectors.

Tomas van Ammers has a strong educational background in finance and quantitative analysis. Tomas first attended John McGlashan College from 2001 to 2007, obtaining an International Baccalaureate and NCEA qualification. Moving on to higher education, Tomas pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on finance and quantitative analysis. Tomas studied at the University of Otago from 2007 to 2009, and later at Corvinus University of Budapest from 2010 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Tomas has also obtained certifications to enhance their professional skills. Tomas has completed the Business Value Analysis certification from ICAgile, as well as the Certified Agile Professional (Scrum Master) certification from the same institution. Furthermore, they have received training on ITIL Service Operation from Catalyst IT Limited.
