Open Position

Open Position has been a Production Manager at Catalyst Nutraceuticals since November 2020. Prior to that, they were a Quality Manager/Senior Quality Engineer at Veyance Technologies, Inc (Continental ContiTech) from April 2017 to November 2020. They were responsible for providing quality management support across a multi-national organization to include system development, problem solving, training and audits.

During their time at Veyance Technologies, Open Position managed a three-year project to implement a problem-solving methodology and monitoring platform in a worldwide organization. They developed the project plan and tracked implementation to a forecasted schedule. The project supported achievement of corporate performance goals.

Open Position also served as a subject matter expert in structured problem solving, aiding and training to a global enterprise. In addition, they upgraded local lab facilities in compliance with corporate directives and served as Project Manager for the global selection of a LIMS in all laboratories (approximately 100 locations).

Finally, they defined the cost of nonconforming quality series of metrics to track scrap/waste in a production facility to serve as a baseline to monitor the effectiveness of continuous improvement activities. This resulted in a waste reduction of 10%.

Open Position works with Ralph Aderholt (Bubba) - Maintenance Manager, Bill Tillery - Logistics Manager. Their manager is Scott Shafer, Plant Manager. Some individuals on their team include Jan Gonzalez - Production Supervisor, Steve Bibb - Production Supervisor, and Genesis Mora - Production Supervisor.
