Ephraim Akyuz

Ephraim Akyuz serves as the Vice President of R&D at Catalyst OrthoScience since July 2017, previously holding the position of Sr Director, R&D. Prior experience includes a role as Principal at Marker Medical from August 2011 to December 2018, and as Senior Product Development Engineer at IMDS from September 2007 to August 2011. Ephraim began a career in research as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Utah from September 2000 to December 2006 and also worked as a Research Associate at Confluent Surgical from June 1999 to August 2000, along with a summer internship at Boston Scientific in 1998. Educational qualifications include a PhD and an MS in Bioengineering from the University of Utah, alongside a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University.
