David Kohlruss

David Kohlruss is a seasoned Senior Frontend Engineer with extensive experience in frontend application development and architecture. Currently at Catalyst Software since July 2022, Kohlruss previously held the same title at Traction Guest from July 2018 to June 2022, where contributions included technical ownership of frontend data layers and application state management in large Angular applications, mentoring junior developers, and implementing new feature architectures. Kohlruss also served as a Frontend Developer at Traction Guest, leading a significant upgrade from AngularJS to Angular, developing integrations for physical access control systems, and creating a Windows application using Electron. Earlier roles include Front End Developer at Mobility Quotient and Geologist at Cascade Meadow Ranch Wellsite Consulting. David Kohlruss holds a BSc in Geology from the University of Calgary and has pursued additional education through Udacity.
