Our core focus is on the development of titanium based catalysts for the production of high intrinsic viscosity polyethylene terephthalate (PET).  Our brand new, unrivalled titanium based product offers PET producers a wide range of technical benefits and improvements over the incumbent antimony based catalysts.  Our goal is to replace all antimony based catalysts used in PET applications.  We believe that our new product, available exclusively from Catalytic Technologies Ltd, has the potential to revolutionise the production and processing dynamics of the PET industry.

CTL have also developed and made commercially available a range of novel aqueous zirconium compounds that can be used as cross-linkers for polymers and are particularly useful in the field of hydraulic fracturing (fracking) where high peak viscosity, excellent peak viscosity stability and controlled delay time is required.
