Stephen Kates

Stephen Kates has extensive experience in the construction industry, currently serving as the Director of Estimating and Preconstruction at Catamount Constructors since November 2016, after previously holding roles as Pre-Construction Manager and Project Manager. Prior to this, Stephen was a Senior Project Manager at Freeman & Associates, Inc. from June 2007 to January 2015, and served as General Manager at Tendon Systems, LLC from January 2001 to May 2007. Stephen began the career as an Assistant Project Manager at The Winter Construction Company from September 1995 to November 2000. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction with a focus on Construction Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology, obtained between 1989 and 1995.
