Prior to this role, Ryan was an independent recording artist from September 2008 to June 2014, who toured extensively across the USA and released two EPs and two full-length albums. Early career experience includes working in patient transportation at Kettering Health Network from July 2004 to August 2008, where responsibilities involved transporting patients within the emergency room setting. Ryan studied at Sinclair Community College from 2006 to 2008.
