Michael Adamson

Michael Adamson serves as the Director of Engineering Program and Director of Solutions Delivery at Catapult since October 2022. Prior to this role, Michael held multiple positions at Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) from August 2013 to October 2022, including Head of Systems & Analysis, where responsibilities included technology strategy implementation and managing internal software roadmaps. In previous roles, such as Head of Analysis and Senior Analyst, Michael contributed significantly to the development of analysis strategies for elite refereeing in the UK and implemented business intelligence tools. Michael’s career began at Prozone Sports Ltd, where duties included managing client relationships and overseeing referee analysis services. Michael holds a BA in Sport from Durham University, completed in 2008.
