Shawn Barthel

Shawn Barthel is an experienced principal field and services engineer at Catapult since March 2014, specializing in the design and installation of sophisticated UWB athlete tracking systems for top-tier clients such as the NFL, NBA, NHL, and NCAA. Notable achievements include leading the deployment of live video capture networks in multiple SEC football stadiums and maintaining a 95% client retention rate through proactive support and customized solutions. Prior to this role, Shawn gained extensive technical experience as a senior field and service engineer, product support engineer, and product performance technician at Catapult, as well as serving as a help desk analyst for the Cleveland Cavaliers and as a help desk assistant at Stark State College. Shawn's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies from Bowling Green State University and an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Network Administration and Security from Stark State College.
