Léonore Becker

Léonore Becker has a diverse and extensive work experience in the art industry. Léonore currently works at Catawiki as the International Sales Lead for Classical, Modern, and Contemporary Art. Léonore'srole includes helping sellers in France grow their online sales internationally. Prior to this, they worked at Hotlotz as the Saleroom Director, where they managed operational tasks such as business development, auction curation, and valuations. Léonore successfully managed the international 'Modern & Contemporary' auction in 2019 and a private collection of Chinese art auction in 2019/2020. Léonore also worked as an Art Advisor at Art Agenda, S.E.A. and as a Projects Coordinator at CHANEL Europe Fashion. Léonore has experience in business development and communication at ATELIER MOREIRA, specializing in 18th and 19th century works of art conservation and expertise. Léonore's career in the art industry started at Christie's, where they held various roles, including Cataloguer, Sales Coordinator, and working in the Impressionist and Modern department.

Léonore Becker has a diverse educational background. Léonore obtained a Bachelor's degree in Humanities from Université Paris-Sorbonne in 2004. Prior to that, they completed a Hypokhâgne and Khâgne program in Lettres Modernes at Groupe scolaire ENC Blomet from 2002 to 2004. In 2005, they participated in an International exchange program at Royal Holloway, University of London, where they focused on Western Literature. Léonore then pursued a Master's degree in History and Business of Art at the University of Warwick from 2006 to 2008. In 2019, they attended LASALLE College of the Arts for Short Courses in Asian Art History. Additionally, they hold certifications in various areas such as Google Sheets Quick Tips, HubSpot Sales Software, Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, Communication Foundations, Creative Thinking. In 2004, Léonore Becker also obtained a Hot Air Balloon Pilot certification from the Federation Francaise d'aérostation.
