Johnny Fan

Johnny Fan is a highly skilled Staff Android Engineer with extensive experience in mobile application development, particularly in the Android ecosystem. Currently leading the development of the Catch app at Catch since January 2023, Johnny has a strong background in optimizing performance through clean architecture and modularisation. Previous roles include Senior Android Developer positions at Tyro Payments, where Johnny contributed to the first Android POS terminal, and Solta Labs, where integration with Bank of America was achieved using PAX's POSLink SDK. Johnny also held significant leadership roles, including as Tech Lead at Centrality.ai, and has demonstrated expertise in quality management at Verifone and multimedia application development at Technicolor. Johnny holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Information Engineering and Control from Beijing Jiaotong University.
