Derek Voyce, P.Eng. has a strong background in automation and instrumentation engineering. Derek started their career at Stantec in 2008 as an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer in Training, where they gained valuable experience. In 2011, they moved to ABB and worked as an Automation Specialist for a year before joining Catch Engineering in 2012.

At Catch Engineering, Derek held various roles and steadily progressed within the company. Derek started as an Intermediate Automation Engineer and worked in this position for five years. In 2017, they were promoted to Senior Automation Engineer, where they continued to contribute their expertise until 2019. In the same year, they became the Automation & Instrumentation Lead, taking on a leadership role within the department.

In 2021, Derek advanced further and became the Automation & Instrumentation Manager, responsible for overseeing the department's operations. As a result of their exceptional performance and leadership skills, they were appointed as the Vice President of Engineering in 2023. Derek's extensive work experience demonstrates their strong technical abilities and their ability to thrive in various roles.

Derek Voyce, P.Eng., pursued their education in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 2002 to 2008 at the University of Regina. Derek successfully completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree during this time.
