Fred Schraub

Fred Schraub is currently the VP, State Counsel for Texas at CATIC, a role they began in 2024. Previously, Fred held the position of Senior Vice President - Texas Underwriting Counsel at National Investors Title Insurance Company from 2018 to 2024. Fred has extensive experience in the title insurance industry, having worked as an Underwriting Counsel at United General Title Insurance Company and as an associate at Escamilla and Poneck earlier in their career. Fred also served as Vice President, Underwriting Counsel at Stewart Title Guaranty Company and Vice President / Texas Counsel at Alliant National Title Insurance Company. Fred earned a JD from Baylor University School of Law and a BBA in Business Broadcasting from Baylor University.
