The Catlin Difference

With a family legacy in construction dating back to the 1970s, our story starts with Jay Catlin learning the trade firsthand from his father, John Catlin Sr. What began with window installations and aluminum work in the Hamilton and Ancaster area has grown into something much more. Jay went on to found Catlin Inc., expanding the family business into full-scale renovations and custom-built homes always with a focus on craftsmanship, integrity and care.

Today, we’re proud to be a Burlington based design build firm serving homeowners across the region. Our team shares a commitment to doing things right—from the smallest details to the biggest ideas.

At Catlin, we believe that building or renovating a home should be a clear, collaborative and rewarding experience. That’s why we lead with transparency, communicate openly, and treat every project like it’s our own. Our clients trust us not just for the quality of our work, but for how we show up throughout the entire process.

We’ve been honoured with multiple awards for service and craftsmanship, and we’re proud of the reputation we’ve built over more than 15 years. But what matters most to us is the trust our clients place in us—and the homes we help bring to life.

We look forward to building something meaningful with you.
