Dr. Thomas Barothy is a 'Business of law' innovator, LegalTech angel investor, and former Chief Operating Officer of UBS Group Legal. With a diverse background in senior management at UBS and consultancy roles, Dr. Barothy contributed significantly to the transformation of legal operations at UBS, earning industry recognition. Since retiring in 2022, Dr. Barothy has taken on Non-Executive Director and advisory roles in various legal services organizations, while managing LegalTech investments through PartnerLex AG. Currently, Dr. Barothy serves as a faculty advisor for the Digital Legal Exchange and contributes to the ACC Legal Operations EMEA advisory board.
