Marcelo Tallis

Marcelo Tallis has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Marcelo has worked as a Principal Data Scientist at Causaly since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Genpact from 2020 to 2023, holding the positions of Assistant Vice President in MLOps Lead and Data Engineering and Data Science. Before Genpact, they worked at Criteo from 2015 to 2020, initially as a Senior Software Developer and later as a Senior Researcher. Marcelo also has experience as a Computer Research Consultant at DataPop, a Computer Scientist at USC Information Sciences Institute, and a Research Scientist at Teknowledge Corporation. Marcelo has a strong background in machine learning, data engineering, and research.

Marcelo Tallis holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, which they earned between 1992 and 2000. Marcelo also obtained a Licenciado in Computacion Cientifica from the University of Buenos Aires. Additionally, Marcelo Tallis has completed several certifications, including courses on Sequence Models, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Improving Deep Neural Networks, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, and Bayesian Statistics, through Coursera.
