Mikhail Pershin

Mikhail Pershin is a seasoned Machine Learning Engineer currently serving as a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Causaly. Previously, Mikhail held several roles at Meta, including Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer, and worked on projects ranging from short-form video genre prediction to frameworks for model training and deployment across multiple platforms. Mikhail began their career at Yandex as a Machine Learning Engineer and also gained experience as a Data Scientist at Segmento/RuTarget and a Quantitative Researcher at Aintsys. Mikhail earned both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Saint-Petersburg State University and has supplemental education in Data Mining from the Computer Science Center.
