Shmuel Kliger has extensive experience in the IT industry, holding various roles in different companies throughout their career.
Shmuel is currently the Founder of Causely, where they are building the IT industry’s first causal AI platform for faster cloud application management.
Prior to that, Shmuel was heavily involved in Turbonomic, where they served as a Board Member, Founder, and President from 2008 to 2021.
Before joining Turbonomic, they worked as the CTO at Dell EMC from 2005 to 2007 and at SMARTS from 1993 to 2005.
Shmuel's career started at IBM in 1992 as a Postdoctoral Researcher.
Shmuel also gained experience as a Senior System Engineer at IBS - International Business Software from 1984 to 1985 and as a Database Administrator and Developer at Tadiran Telecom from 1982 to 1984.
Shmuel began their career as a Software Developer at Mamram - IDF from 1974 to 1981.
Shmuel Kliger completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at Bar-Ilan University, from 1977 to 1982. Shmuel then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the Weizmann Institute of Science, from 1985 to 1987. Following this, Shmuel Kliger obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from the Weizmann Institute of Science, completing their studies from 1987 to 1992.
