John Lepper

John Lepper is an accomplished restaurant management professional with extensive experience in the food service industry. Currently serving as the Manager of Restaurant Openings and New Restaurant Opening Lead at CAVA since November 2017, John coordinates operational transitions and oversees the training development of over 40 restaurants across the United States. Prior roles include General Manager at Sushi Zushi of Texas, LLC, and Managing Partner/Executive Chef at Slate/219W Restaurant, where John focused on enhancing service standards and operational performance. Earlier positions include General Manager at Buenos Aires Café ESTE and Operations Manager/Executive Chef at Vazzano’s Banquet and Catering, demonstrating a strong background in team leadership, food quality management, and high-volume operations. An alumnus of The Culinary Institute of America, John holds an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts/Chef Training.
