Ron Reyes

Ron Reyes has extensive work experience in the field of telecommunications and network engineering. Ron'smost recent position was as a Senior Engineer at Cavan Solutions, where they began in January 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Flatirons Solutions as a Sr. Systems and Telecommunications Engineer, supporting the FAA System Wide Information System (SWIM) Flight Data Publication Service (FDPS) software. Ron joined Flatirons Solutions in May 2014.

Before their time at Flatirons Solutions, Ron worked at SAIC as a FAA Senior Implementation Network Engineer, implementing the System Wide Information Management (SWIM) Terminal Data Distribution System (STDDS). Ron provided technical oversight and managed the deployment of systems installations. Ron also worked as a Network Engineer and Project Lead at SAIC, managing national FAA telecommunications and conducting requirements analysis and solution development.

Prior to their experience at SAIC, Ron worked as a Network Engineer at SAIC, where they were responsible for the integration of Cisco IP network management platforms at the FAA Network Operations Centers and trained staff. Ron also implemented and developed rebuilding procedures for the Hewlett Packard Network Node Manager.

Earlier in their career, Ron worked as an Independent Contractor and Project Engineer at InfoAge Consulting, providing telecommunications consulting services to government organizations such as the FAA and the United States Coast Guard. Ron managed the entire networking lifecycle and provided technical support for Cisco routers and switches.

Ron's career in the field of network operations began as an Independent Contractor Technical Support Engineer at InfoAge Consulting, where they delivered network operations technical support services and implemented network changes. Ron also worked as an Independent Contractor Network Engineer at InfoAge Consulting, analyzing and evaluating equipment interfaces and protocols, conducting site surveys, and supporting integration and rollout.

Ron Reyes attended Park University from 1988 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. During their time at Park University, they did not specialize in any specific field of study. In addition to their degree, Ron obtained two certifications. In September 2003, they received the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification from Pearson VUE. Later, in October 2013, they obtained the Information Storage Associate Version 2, EMCISA E10-01 certification, also from Pearson VUE.
