CAVCON is a merit shop general contractor. This means we have the ability to match the most qualified subcontractors and suppliers for each job with the flexibility to handpick the most cost effective and efficient resources whether union or nonunion.

Clients’ needs vary and so do the services CAVCON provides. Each project has a unique problem to solve. CAVCON addresses those problems by providing a complete range of construction services including pre-construction feasibility to construction management. Project delivery methods include Design Build or traditional Design Bid Build.

By utilizing over three generations of experience, CAVCON has maintained a reputation for quality and excellence. Our portfolio covers a wide spectrum, from larger commercial/institutional projects, including hospitals, clubs, educational facilities, and office buildings to smaller interior renovation work. No matter the size, each project receives the same attention to detail, superior workmanship, and management necessary to see a project through from conception to completion.

DESIGN BUILD
Design-build is a method of facilities project delivery in which one entity, the design-builder, forges a single contract with the owner to provide for architectural/engineering design and construction services. Independent research on project performance has shown that design-build, when compared with traditional design and low-bid contracting, is 33% faster, 6% less in unit cost, superior in product quality, and generates less than half the claims and litigation. We are a member of the Design-Build Institute of America.
