Dan Spence

Dan Spence is a chartered chemical engineer with extensive experience in process safety engineering and hazard analysis. They have held positions at Total, Prax, and Abbott Risk Consulting, where they led multiple hazard identification studies and developed risk assessments. Currently, Dan works as a Senior Safety Case Engineer at Cavendish Nuclear, supporting the implementation of safety cases for nuclear-powered submarines. Dan earned an MSc in Process Safety and Loss Prevention with distinction from the University of Sheffield and a 1st Class MEng in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nottingham. They are currently taking time off to travel.
