John Fremer, Ph.D. has extensive experience in the field of test security and development. John served as the President Emeritus of Caveon Test Security and previously held various roles within the company, including President, Vice President, and President of Caveon Consulting Services. John worked with clients to enhance the security of their testing programs, conducted security audits, prepared security handbooks, and carried out security investigations. In addition, they were a Board Member for the Buros Center for Testing and a Consultant for The College Board. John also served as an Advisory Board Member for Teachers College, Columbia University, Urban Education Collaborative. Prior to their work at Caveon Test Security, they worked as the Director of Test Development at ETS and Vice President and Director of the Measurement Division at the Psychological Corporation. John Fremer began their career at Educational Testing Service as the Director of Test Development.
John Fremer, Ph.D. earned their first degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Staten Island Community College, now known as Staten Island University, between 1960 and 1963. John then pursued a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and Measurement from Teachers College, Columbia University from 1960 to 1970.
