Will Chu is the Senior Vice President of the Processors Business Group at Marvell. In his role, Will is responsible for the company’s compute technology and processor product lines, including Marvell’s multi-core and baseband DPU product portfolio as well as Marvell’s Open RAN and virtualized RAN platform solutions. Previously Will served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Automotive Business Unit at Marvell where he was responsible for the strategic direction and implementation of Marvell’s semiconductor business for the automotive market, and propelled Marvell’s leadership for in-vehicle networks and automotive Ethernet.
Will brings over 20 years of experience to the Marvell team, including 10 years focused on automotive semiconductor products. Most recently he was Managing Director of the Automotive Business Unit at Maxim Integrated where he managed the Automotive RF, Battery Management, Exterior LED, and Sensors product lines. During his tenure at Maxim, Will helped grow the company’s automotive business to over $350M, scaling from less than 5% of the company’s revenue to over 20%.
Will holds a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University and an MBA from MIT Sloan. He holds multiple patents and has represented Marvell as an industry thought leader at conferences and technical events.
