Tim Lyons

Tim Lyons, CAIA has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. Currently, they are serving as the Senior Managing Director at CAVU Securities, LLC, where they focus on providing Fortune 500 companies with access to best-in-class products and services while promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Prior to their current role, Tim was the Managing Director, Founding Principal, and Chief Investment Officer at Lone Eagle Capital, LLC. Tim also held the position of Managing Director and Head of US Business Development at CDAM Americas, LLC, where they successfully implemented institutional marketing strategies resulting in significant growth in assets under management.

Additionally, Tim has worked as a Deputy Constable at the Incline Village Constable's office, where they had responsibilities in prisoner transport and assisting in local law enforcement operations. Tim also had roles as a Business Development Consultant at BlueCrest Capital Management, LLP and Fay Financial, and as a Desk Manager at Tradition Financial Services.

As a self-starter and entrepreneur, Tim has experience as the President of Patriot Asset Management, Inc and as a Co-Founder and interim CEO/CFO at eko, Inc., where they led the founding and development of a chlorine-free pool and spa chemical manufacturing company.

Tim began their career as an Associate at JP Morgan, focusing on U.S. Dollar Swap and U.S. Treasury Bond trading. Overall, their work experience showcases their expertise in business development, institutional marketing, finance, and leadership roles.

Tim Lyons, CAIA completed their Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with a Certificate in Environmental Studies from Princeton University, where they attended from 1990 to 1994. Prior to that, they studied at St. Mark's from 1986 to 1990. Tim also pursued a University Extension from The University of Texas at Austin. In terms of certifications, they obtained their CAIA certification from CHARTERED ALTERNATIVE INVESTMENT ANALYST ASSOCIATION, INC in 2015. Additionally, Tim holds certifications including Series 7, 63, 24, 79, and 52 from FINRA.
