Wei Han

Wei Han's work experience begins in 2013, when they worked as a Mass Spectrometrist at The Metabolomics Innovation Centre. In this role, they conducted mass spectrometry-based analyses and communicated with clients about sample preparation and handling. They worked there until 2015.

In 2018, Wei Han joined Nova Medical Testing Inc as a Senior Scientist. Here, they developed and optimized analytical methods for mass spectrometry-based metabolomics. They also contributed to the development of a Python software product for biomarker discovery. Wei Han worked at Nova Medical Testing Inc until September 2021.

Currently, Wei Han is a Data Scientist II at CareerBuilder, starting in October 2021.

Wei Han's education history begins with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Chemistry from Zhejiang University, which was obtained from 2008 to 2012. Afterwards, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Metabolomics and Bioinformatics at the University of Alberta, completing it from 2012 to 2017. More recently, Wei Han attended the University of Pennsylvania from 2019 to 2022, where they obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Computer and Information Technology.
