Robert Carter

Robert Carter has over 35 years of experience in the banking industry. Robert most recently served as the Senior Vice President at CBBC Bank since October 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Vice President at Bank of Tennessee from May 2017 to March 2020. Robert also held the position of City President at FirstBank from March 2011 to May 2017. Robert Carter has also held various executive and leadership roles at Omni Leasing, LLC, American Trust Bank of East Tennessee, Regions Bank, National Bank of Commerce, AmSouth Bank / First American National Bank, Union Planters Bank of East Tennessee, and First American National Bank. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a strong background in commercial banking and sales management.

Robert Carter attended Lincoln County High School, graduating in 1981. Robert then went on to study Finance/Business Education at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, earning their B.S. degree from 1982 to 1989. Later, in 1997, they attended the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado for an unspecified period of time. Additionally, in 1995, they attended the National Commercial Lending School.
