Allan B.

Allan B. is an experienced professional with a strong background in culture, heritage, and events management. Since September 2010, Allan has served as the Culture, Heritage and Events Team Leader at the Town of Okotoks and has also held the position of Acting Director of Community Services. In addition to this role, Allan has been a Producer at CBC since January 2021, after previously working as the National Entertainment and Drama Producer from June 2002 to September 2010. Allan's academic contributions include positions as an Adjunct Professor at both The University of Calgary and Mount Royal University. Allan holds a Ph.D. in Canadian Theatre History from the University of Calgary, a Master’s in Film Production from Concordia University, and a Bachelor’s degree (with Distinction) in Writing and Communications from the University of Victoria.
