Amanda Alvaro

Amanda Alvaro is a seasoned public relations professional with extensive experience in political commentary and strategic communications. As Co Founder and President of Pomp & Circumstance PR since December 2015, Amanda has led impactful PR initiatives. Concurrently, Amanda serves as a Political Commentator on CBC TV's Power and Politics, providing insights twice a week. Prior to these roles, Amanda founded and directed Narrative PR from January 2007 to December 2015 and held the position of Director of Issues and Communications to the Minister of Education for the Government of Ontario from November 2003 to March 2006. Amanda's academic background includes studies in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication at Humber College, along with education at Western University and York University.
