Barbara Mamabolo

Barbara Mamabolo is a seasoned professional in the film and television industry, currently serving as the Executive in Charge of Current Production, Drama, and previously as Manager of Current Production, Scripted Content (English Services) at CBC since June 2021. With a diverse background as an actor, director, and producer since 2002, Barbara has also held key roles such as Programming Manager and Program and Project Coordinator at the Reelworld Film Festival from January 2020 to February 2022, and Story Editor for Kim's Convenience in 2020. Additional experience includes content creation at DemoPower Canada, associate production at Loco Motion Pictures, and internships at WHIZBANG FILMS INTERNATIONAL LTD and Xenophile Media. Barbara holds a Master's degree in Cinema Studies from the University of Toronto.
