Barbara Williams

Barbara Williams is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the media industry. Currently serving as Executive Vice President at CBC since May 2019, Barbara previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Corus Entertainment from April 2016 to October 2018. Prior to that, Barbara was with Shaw Communications for six years, where roles included President and EVP of Content at Shaw Media. Barbara's career began at Canwest, where Barbara served as EVP of Content from 2005 to 2010. Barbara is an alumnus of Syracuse University, having attended from 1981 to 1982.
