Benjamin Shingler is an experienced journalist currently working full-time at CBC since December 2014. Prior to this role, Benjamin worked as a freelance reporter for Al Jazeera Media Network and the Associated Press from September 2013 to January 2016. Additionally, Benjamin served as a reporter for The Canadian Press from October 2010 to December 2014 and contributed freelance work to Open File between May 2011 and September 2012. Benjamin holds a Graduate Diploma in Journalism from Concordia University and a Master's degree in History from Central European University.
