Brian Stemmle is a retired veteran of the FIS Alpine World Cup circuit, with a competitive career spanning from December 1985 to July 1999 as a Downhill and Super G Specialist for the Canadian Alpine Ski Team. Stemmle participated in 93 races, attended four Olympic Games, and achieved three podium finishes along with 15 top ten results. Following his skiing career, Stemmle transitioned to broadcasting, working as a sportscaster and analyst for Rogers Sportsnet from November 1999 to March 2016, and currently serves as a broadcaster for CBC since November 2018. Notably, Stemmle provided commentary alongside Gerry Dobson during the 2010 Vancouver Olympics.
