Carla Palmer

Carla Palmer is an experienced professional in the music and entertainment industry, currently serving as the Director of CBC Music since November 2011. Previously held roles include Senior Director (Interim) of Content Development and Production for Programming Radio & Audio - Music, and Senior Manager in the same area at CBC. Carla's marketing expertise is demonstrated through prior positions as Director of Marketing at Open Road Recordings and Marketing Manager roles at both House of Blues and Universal Concerts/MCA Concerts. Early career experience includes working as a Promotions Representative at EMI Music. Carla holds a degree in Broadcast Communications from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia.
