Catherine Garrett

Catherine Garrett is a multiple award-winning journalist passionate about Indigenous issues, immigration, healthcare, crime, human interest, and David vs. Goliath stories. Catherine currently serves as a Reporter and Editor for CBC in Terrace and Prince Rupert, having begun this role in 2019. Previously, they have worked as a Reporter/Anchor at Vista Radio Ltd and 980 CKNW, and as a Digital Broadcast Journalist. Catherine holds a diploma in Broadcast Journalism from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2017 to 2019, and has also pursued studies in Creative Writing at the University of Victoria.
