Ellen Mauro

Ellen Mauro is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in multimedia journalism, currently serving as a Senior Reporter for CBC since April 2013, covering significant national and international stories across all CBC News platforms. Previously, Ellen worked as a Correspondent focused on the Trump White House, and as a Field Producer and Backfill Reporter, field producing international news coverage and reporting from Europe and Africa. Other notable positions include Technical Instructor at the University of the West of England, BBC Politics Broadcast Assistant, Television News Reporter at CTV, and various roles at CBC, including producing coverage for the 2012 London Olympics. Ellen holds an M.A. in Multimedia Journalism from the University of the West of England and a B.Journ. in Journalism from Carleton University.
