Jennifer Yoon

Senior Health Reporter

Jennifer Yoon is a Senior Health Reporter at CBC, where responsibilities include web, TV, and radio reporting since May 2018. Previous roles include serving as an Election Logger and Peter Gzowski Intern at The Bull & Bear, as well as Executive Editor and Opinion Editor at the North Korea Strategy Center. Jennifer participated in the Oslo Scholar – Storytelling Program funded by the Human Rights Foundation and was Editor in Chief of The Prognosis at McGill Global Health Programs, co-sponsored by the McGill Institute for Health and Social Policy. Additional experience encompasses editing the McGill Journal of Indigenous Studies and leadership as President of the Vancouver District Students' Council, along with an internship in administration and citywide events with the City of Vancouver. Educational qualifications include a BA Joint Honours in Political Science and History from McGill University, and concurrent studies in Political Science at The University of British Columbia, complemented by a non-degree program in History and International Relations at New York University.
