Jo Horwood

Jo Horwood is an accomplished video journalist with a diverse background in media production and business advisory roles. Currently serving as a video journalist at CBC since December 2021, Jo previously held several positions at Rogers Media, including radio producer, television producer, and reporter from October 2019 to January 2022. A brief internship as an associate producer at CBC in June 2019 involved producing twelve interviews. Prior experience includes advising small businesses at Microsoft as a business advisor from September 2017 to June 2019, and a leadership role at Old Navy, where efficiency and team morale were significantly enhanced. Jo also made impactful contributions at Bose Corporation as a business operations manager and assistant manager, helping to implement processes that significantly increased sales. Jo holds a Bachelor of Communication in Broadcast Journalism from Mount Royal University, completed in 2021.
