Kat McMorrow

Kat McMorrow is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in producing and managing content within Canadian broadcasting. Currently serving as a Senior Producer at CBC News since March 2024, McMorrow leads the Entertainment and Education content units. In addition to this role, McMorrow has held the position of Toronto Location Unit President at the Canadian Media Guild since January 2023 and has been a Producer for CBC's News Network and Radio Assignment since February 2019. Previous experience includes acting as Senior Producer for CBC/Radio-Canada, where responsibilities included overseeing content for various CBC News platforms, and serving in various production roles at CBC Television from 2010 to 2019. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Western University and a Postgraduate Certificate in Journalism from Humber College.
