Kelly Rice

Kelly Rice has extensive experience in the field of music and broadcasting, currently serving as the Host for the "Causeries" lecture series with Orchestre symphonique de Montréal since 2006. In addition, Rice has been a Broadcaster and Producer at CBC since December 1990, contributing as a Producer for CBC Music and a Columnist for CBC Radio One, while also holding roles as Senior Producer and Artistic Director for both the CBC-McGill Concert Series and CBC Christmas Sing-In. Rice has also shared knowledge as a Lecturer at McGill University from 1986 to 2011, teaching a variety of subjects including Musicology and Music Theory. As a Member of the Board for the Conseil des arts de Montréal from 2001 to 2009, Rice engaged with the local arts community. Rice holds a Master's degree in Musicology from McGill University, completed in 1992, and attended Dalhousie University from 1979 to 1981.
