Kerry Kelly

Kerry Kelly is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public affairs, communications, and digital information management. Currently serving as the Director of Public Affairs at CBC since March 2018, Kerry previously held various roles including Senior Manager in the same department and as a freelance researcher focused on healthy active living strategies for East Gwillimbury. Notable past positions include Executive Director at Leisure Information Network, where Kerry oversaw strategy and budget planning, and Project Manager for the Ontario Active After School Network Project. Additional experience includes roles as a Digital Information Specialist at Skills for Change, Communications and Member Engagement Officer at the Council of Ontario Universities, and communications coordination at the University of Toronto. Kerry began a career in journalism as a reporter at Catholic New Times and North Bay Nugget. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Information Science from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Carleton University.
