Lauren Hancock

Lauren Hancock has extensive experience in radio production and programming, beginning as a Freelance Programmer at CBC from May 2005 to December 2006, where playlists for the Jazz Radio show "After Hours" were curated. Prior to that, Lauren worked at JAZZFM91 as a Creative Assistant/Associate Producer/Tech from May 2003 to June 2005, assisting in writing on-air ads and conducting pre-interviews for the morning show. Lauren's tenure at CBC/Radio-Canada began in January 2011 and continues as a Producer, contributing to various shows including "R2 Morning with Tom Power" and "Tempo" with Julie Nesrallah. Additionally, Lauren served as the Producer for the jazz show "Tonic" and the variety show "Shift" between February 2007 and August 2010. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Radio and Television from Ryerson University, obtained between 2001 and 2005.
