Lawrence Vella

Lawrence Vella is an accomplished Human Resources professional with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Director of Human Resources for Corporate Services at CBC since June 2017, Vella previously held significant HR leadership roles at Iron Mountain, where management of Canadian operations involved over 500 employees across 23 locations. Additional experience includes positions such as Director of Human Resources at Newalta, COM DEV International, and Wesbell Group of Companies, where Vella established comprehensive HR functions and developed strategic HR plans. Vella began the HR career as the Human Resources Manager for Safety Kleen Canada Inc., managing a sizeable workforce across multiple locations. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from McMaster University and an Executive MBA from Northern Illinois University.
