Leif Larsen

Leif Larsen is an experienced audio producer currently serving as a Senior Producer at CBC since May 2012, with previous roles including Producer for Radio Current Affairs and various associate producer positions. Key responsibilities involve producing interview segments, pitching stories, and managing guest bookings. Prior to joining CBC, Leif held the position of Editor-in-Chief at The Manitoban from May 2010 to May 2012, overseeing content and staff management after starting as Science Editor in May 2009. Leif also gained research experience as a Research Associate at the University of Manitoba, focusing on microbiology and genetics. Educationally, Leif holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from The University of Winnipeg, obtained between 2000 and 2005.
