Mark Ellis

Mark Ellis is an accomplished executive producer, screenwriter, and showrunner with extensive experience in the television industry. Currently serving as an Executive Producer at CBC since March 2023, Mark co-produces the show "ALLEGIANCE." With a strong background, Mark has held key roles at Flashbang Productions since 2008, where multiple projects are in development for major Canadian broadcasters. Previous positions include Executive Producer and Screenwriter with NBCUniversal Media, where Mark developed Season 2 and co-wrote the season premiere of a project for Bell/NBC Universal, and Executive Producer/Showrunner for the critically acclaimed WWII Spy Thriller "X Company" at CBC/Radio-Canada. Mark also created and executive produced "Flashpoint," which was widely distributed across numerous territories. Formal education includes studies at Ryerson University and Berlinale Talent Campus.
