Martha Troian is an experienced investigative journalist currently self-employed since January 2013 and has held various freelance positions since 2011. Notable roles include contributions to Vice-Canada, Wawatay Native Communications Society, CBC Aboriginal, iPolitics, Indian Country Today, and mediaINDIGENA.com. Martha’s work often focuses on Indigenous issues, politics, and community narratives across Canada, enhancing understanding of these contexts through numerous publications. Martha also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at both the University of King's College and Carleton University, supporting journalism education.
