Meagan Fitzpatrick

Meagan Fitzpatrick is an experienced reporter with a focus on Canadian politics. Since February 2011, Meagan has been a reporter for CBC, specializing in the Politics page of cbcnews.ca from the Parliament Hill bureau in Ottawa. Prior to this role, Meagan worked at Postmedia Network Inc. from April 2006 to February 2011, providing national political coverage for Canwest News Service, which later became Postmedia News. Meagan's career began at Dose Magazine as the sole Ottawa reporter covering local news and Parliament Hill from March 2005 to April 2006, and earlier at the Ottawa Citizen, where Meagan started as a summer intern in May 2003. Educational accomplishments include a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Queen's University and a Master’s Degree in Journalism from Western University.
