Nahlah Ayed

Nahlah Ayed is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience as a host and producer at CBC since December 2002, where responsibilities include full-time travel, writing, television and radio broadcasting, videography, photography, and serving as a war correspondent and political analyst with a focus on the Middle East, Europe, and global affairs. Prior to this role, Nahlah worked as a writer and editor for The Canadian Press from September 1997 to November 2002, specializing in International Affairs, Immigration, Justice, and Politics, contributing both short and long-form pieces to Canada's leading newspapers and websites. Nahlah holds a Master's degree in Journalism from Carleton University, a Master's degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies, and a Bachelor's degree in Human/Medical Genetics, both from the University of Manitoba.
