Nicole Alexander currently serves as the Lead for Equity and Inclusion at CBC, a position held since January 2024. Prior to this role, Alexander was affiliated with Bakau Consulting Inc. as Co-Manager of the Facilitation Certificate Program and Equity and Inclusion Strategist between October 2021 and February 2024. Previous experience includes serving as the Federal In-Reach Community Development Coordinator at PASAN and working as a part-time professor at Durham College. Alexander has also contributed to harm reduction efforts with the AIDS Committee of Durham Region and provided outreach support for Black youth in crisis at the Women's Multicultural Resource and Counselling Centre of Durham. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Mental Health Studies from the University of Toronto Scarborough and a Post Graduate certificate in Addictions and Mental Health from Durham College.
