Paige Murray

Paige Murray has been with CBC since April 2011, currently serving as Executive in Charge of Development for Drama and Production of YA Digital Originals, where responsibilities include scouting talent, evaluating series pitches, and overseeing the national broadcast of the Canadian short film showcase. Previous roles at CBC include Development Manager for Comedy and Drama and Executive Assistant to the General Manager of Programming, where project management and communications were key duties. Paige served on the Board of Directors for Breakthroughs Film Festival from October 2018 to January 2023, supporting emerging filmmakers identifying as women, trans, or non-binary. Prior experience includes project coordination as an Analyst and Executive Assistant at OPTIMUS | SBR, account management at Absolute Recruitment, and marketing coordination at Phipps. Education includes a BA in Psychology and Economics from Mount Allison University and further studies at The George Washington University.
